The IHP+ recognizes that Civil Society organisations play a critical role in facilitating the engagement of stakeholders in the IHP+ process.
The
feedback document for the draft CSO Engagement
Concept Note was circulated in April 2008 to solicit
response on how the IHP+ could most effectively engage
the resources and expertise of Civil Society
Organisations that are working at country level.
The content from the feedback note was incorporated into
the
FINAL CSO Engagement Note.
A one-day Forum on Civil Society's role in the IHP+ was held on 23 May 2008 in Geneva. Read more...

The World Health Assembly (Geneva CH)
The IHP+ took centre stage at the the World Health
Assembly from 19-23rd May 2008 in Geneva
Switzerland. As one of the key Technical Briefings
for the week, stakeholders and many observers filled
Salle XII at the Palais des Nations to hear
reports of progress and strategies relating
to the IHP+.
