Collaboration at local, national and global level is critical to the progress of the IHP+. As the success of the IHP+ is so dependent upon effective sharing of information between partners at all levels, a busy schedule of events is planned in order to facilitate these exchanges.

4th -5th February 09
Event: IHP+ Ministerial review Meeting
Details:
The first ministerial review of the International Health Partnership and related initiatives (IHP+) will be held in Geneva on the 4th and 5th of  February 2009. This first high-level meeting will allow to exchange views on early achievements, remaining obstacles and potential opportunities to accelerate progress. Findings of the first independent review of the IHP+ carried out earlier this year will also be discussed. With the global economy in distress, the signatories will reflect on how to build on the current progress and maintain the IHP+ commitments and momentum.

Details: G8 Summit in Hokkaido, Japan. Represents opportune time for the agencies behind the IHP+ to have common message on international approaches to dealing with global health challenges.
