IHP+ International Health Partnership and Related
Initiatives
The International Health Partnership was launched on September 5, 2007. It calls for all signatories to accelerate action in order to scale-up coverage and use of health services, and to deliver improved outcomes against the health-related MDGs while honoring commitments to improve universal access to health.
Several other initiatives have also been launched with the common goal of accelerating the achievement of the health related MDGs in line with the 2005 Paris Declaration.
The International Health Partnership and the related initiatives have created a coordination process and common work-plan known as the 'IHP+' (the International Health Partnership and related initiatives) in an effort to pool expertise and resources in order to take this work forward.
